Alona Tal

Alona Tal, an Israeli-American actress and singer was born on Oct. 20th, 1983 in Herzliya, Israel. Her career began when she joined the Israeli Defense Forces. In 2003, she appeared in an Israeli film. This was her major breakthrough. In addition to her roles in Israeli films, she recorded numerous tracks with Subliminal. Tal relocated the city of New York with her sister. In the track "Party to Damascus" she performed in a duet with Wyclefjean from Haiti. She also established herself in American television, beginning by playing a recurring character in the show Veronica Mars: She originally tried out for the lead role, but creator Rob Thomas wrote a new character just for her. Later, Tal was offered a regular role in the CBS series. After moving to New York, he appeared in two shows on TV in Israel. Wyclef Jean recorded a track. Her primary language is Hebrew. Second in the competition for the role of Veronica Mars (2004). She was auditioned for the role and was Rob Thomas' second choice. Thomas liked her so much he created the recurring role of Meg Manning specifically for her. She was a member of The Israel Defense Forces. Her parents are Jewish as is her father who is a Turkish/Jewish man and her has a Polish/Jewish mother. She plays the daughter of Adrian Monk's wife, who was killed in the final episode of the final season of Monk (2002).Has one daughter, Charlie Ferraez (b.March 7, 2017) married to her husband Marcos A. Ferraez.
