Dawson (born May 9th, 1979)[3] is an American producer and actress. She made
her feature-film debut in the 1995 independent drama Kids. Her roles in
subsequent films include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (2002).
Dawson is also a voice actor for work for Disney/Marvel and Warner Bros./DC
Comics and ViacomCBS's Nickelodeon unit.For her role in Rent, Dawson won the
Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture; for her
performance in Top Five, she was nominated for the Critics' Choice Award for
Best actress in a Comedy. Dawson was born in New York City on May 9, 1979.
Isabel Celeste is her mother and is of Afro-Cuban heritage. Rosario was sixteen
years old when she was born. birth. Isabel never married Patrick C. Harris the
her biological father. Rosario's mom, Greg Dawson, was working as a
construction worker when she was just one year old. In the marriage, Dawson has
a half-brother, Clay, who is 4 years younger than her. Dawson is also
well-known for having several roles in comic-book adaptations.These include
Gail in Sin City (2005) and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple
in five of the shows from Marvel/Netflix (2015-2018), and providing the voices
of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman on the DC Animated Movie Universe and Space Jam: A
New Legacy and Barbara Gordon/Batgirl from The Lego Batman Movie. In 2020, she
voiced Ahsoka Tano in the second season of The Mandalorian, and is due to play
the coming Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She will also be appearing in Young
Rock, an autobiographical comedy show created directed by Dwayne John in 2021.
